I had a lovely six-night stay at Urso Hotel & Spa. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making me feel pampered (I especially appreciated the welcome treat!). My room was quiet and spacious, although the water temperature in the shower fluctuated at times. The spa was a highlight, with a steam room and various relaxation areas which helped transition from exploring the city to relaxing in the evening. However, I did have a disappointing experience with breakfast (some items felt cold and uninviting).

My Junior Suite was spacious and well-decorated, featuring a small balcony and modern amenities. However, the shower had some maintenance issues, such as fluctuating water temperature and a stuck diverter.
Service

The staff were really good, willing to assist at every turn, from check-in to the restaurant. The personal touches, like the waiter bringing a coloring book for my niece, made the experience feel special.
Location

The hotel is ideally located on the edge of the Malasana district, which is vibrant and full of life but still quiet enough for a peaceful stay. Major attractions are just a short cab ride away.
Dining

While the breakfast options were extensive, I found some items unappealing and cold. It did not match the high standard I expected. However, the afternoon tea was good.
Facilities

The spa facilities were fantastic and well-maintained (the various jacuzzis were particularly enjoyable!). However, I did find the price of spa access unexpected given the hotel classification.

My stay at Urso Hotel & Spa was a good experience. The atmosphere is stylish and invites relaxation, but I did encounter issues with ordering enough filtered water during my stay. The location is perfect for exploring the main attractions without being in the thick of the tourist chaos, which I appreciated immensely.

The spa facilities were well-maintained and provided a nice escape. However, I wish there were more options like an infrared sauna to enhance the relaxation experience.

I had a good stay at Urso Hotel & Spa. The location is perfect for exploring Madrid, being centrally situated yet in a quieter area. However, my room had some lighting issues that made it challenging to navigate in the evening. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I'd recommend it.

My junior suite was spacious and beautifully decorated, but the room was quite dark in the evenings due to poor lighting placement. It could've used more shelving and a bit more space in the bathroom for toiletries.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Nicolas, the concierge, went out of his way to help with reservations and excursion planning, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

The spa was well-maintained with great amenities, although I found it a bit lacking that access wasn't included with the room price. The vintage elevator added an interesting charm to the experience.

I recently had a one-night stay at the URSO Hotel, and while I was quite impressed by the hotel's stunning design and the thoughtful gestures from the staff, there were a couple of hiccups that kept me from fully enjoying my visit. I experienced a mix-up with my room service request and while the hotel did their best to accommodate me, the overall arrangement could have been smoother. The beautiful decor and helpful staff certainly brought much charm to my stay. but a few operational quirks stood out too.

I had a really special stay at Urso Hotel & Spa, A Small Luxury Hotel Of The World. The central location made it a perfect base for exploring Madrid, as I was within walking distance of major attractions like Sol and Plaza Mayor. While the staff was really good and welcoming, I did encounter some hidden costs during my visit that took me by surprise. Overall, it was a good experience but came with a few challenges.

Rooms

The Double or Twin Room I stayed in was spacious, featuring comfortable bedding and excellent decor. However, I did experience some issues with the bathroom not being ideal, including a leaking shower door.

The staff service was amazing, as they were friendly and attentive throughout my stay, providing great support. On the downside, there were moments when communication could have been better, especially regarding room changes.
Location

The hotel is ideally located in central Madrid, allowing me to easily explore major tourist sites and local cafes. It was a little noisy at times, but I appreciated being in the heart of the city.
Dining

Breakfast was good with a continental buffet and hot meal options, but I found some menu items to be pricey, like a simple fruit salad that surprised me with its cost.
Facilities

The spa facilities were well-maintained and provided a clean, relaxing environment. However, entrance fees to the spa area were not included in the room rate, which felt disappointing given the high price I paid for the stay.
